1. About Graceful Mosaic

Graceful Mosaic is a therapeutic and wellness practice that offers:

• Therapy and counselling services provided by licensed, regulated professionals (e.g., MSW, RSW)
• Faith-informed and culturally responsive mental health support
• Educational content and community wellness resources

2. Eligibility

Graceful Mosaic offers therapy services exclusively to clients aged 18 and older. You must reside in Ontario, Canada or another jurisdiction where our practitioners are licensed to receive services.

3. No Emergency or Crisis Support

Graceful Mosaic is not a crisis line, emergency response service, or walk-in clinic. If you are in crisis or require immediate help, please contact:

• Call 911 or go to your nearest hospital emergency department

We cannot provide same-day or on-call emergency mental health support.

4. Professional Standards and Consent

Therapy services are delivered in alignment with the ethical codes of practice and regulatory guidelines set by the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

Before beginning therapy, all clients must:

• Complete an intake process
• Sign an Informed Consent Form
• Review and agree to our privacy and confidentiality policy

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy matters. All therapy services are provided in accordance with Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) and relevant privacy laws. Your personal and health information is kept confidential and will only be disclosed under the following circumstances:

• You give informed, written consent
• There is a risk of harm to yourself or others
• A child or vulnerable person is at risk
• Disclosure is legally required by subpoena or court order

A full Privacy Policy is available upon request and will be shared during intake.

6. Fees and Cancellation Policy

• All fees will be disclosed clearly before services begin.
• Graceful Mosaic does not currently offer services that are covered by insurance. Clients are responsible for out-of-pocket payment.
• Sliding scale fees may be available based on financial need and practitioner availability.
• A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of appointments.
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.
• Payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

7. Website Content Disclaimer

All content provided through our website (including blog posts, articles, tools, and resources) is intended for general informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical, therapeutic, or legal advice.
Accessing or using website materials does not create a therapeutic relationship with Graceful Mosaic or any of its practitioners.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials, including text, images, graphics, logos, downloads, and branding on the Graceful Mosaic website are the intellectual property of Graceful Mosaic unless otherwise credited. They may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without express written permission. You may share content for non-commercial, personal, or educational purposes with proper credit.

This site may contain links to third-party websites and services for your convenience. Graceful Mosaic does not endorse or assume responsibility for the accuracy, policies, or practices of any third-party content or providers.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Ontario courts.
